Hello GISuser...
Welcome once again to our Geo-technology news update... Of interest today, be sure to check out the latest edition of our sister publication, Amerisurv Today. Distributed yesterday, the newsletter delivers the latest news and items of interest to land surveyors and those interested in surveying and mapping. From the geo-blog, yesterday I provided details of a new EDU resource to encourage Geo education in the classroom - The Google Geo Ed home. Also, if your interested in seeing what Autodesk has to offer in their 2009 applications then the Experience Tour may be coming to a city near you. Also on the blog, we broke news from UCIS that the NAFTA TN visa may be bumped up to a 3 year term - this could be great news for you Canucks heading south for employment - I know there's a bunch of you at ESRI! Finally, making news headlines today are the likes of Océ with their CrystalPoint Color Technology; Bluesky with new 3D City Models; and Spatial Wave with the release of their Mapplet.NET 4.1 technology. That's it for now -- have a great day all, I'm off to Loveland this afternoon to take in the NOCO GIS Cluster meetup. PS: This week we've announced our new Spatial Media Newswire Posting Account - tremendous value - conta & loads of exposure -contact yours truly (editor at gisuser.com) if you'd like more info.
