Esri is inviting users to submit their top Esri Story Map projects for a chance at prizes and peer recognition at the largest gathering of GIS software users in the world-the Esri User Conference.

Topcon kicks off 2015 Technology Roadshow with expanded tour schedule
Topcon Positioning Group announces the kickoff of the 2015 Topcon Technology Roadshow in Toronto, Ontario. The mobile solutions center will embark on its trek on April 22 - 23, and then continue all across North America stopping in more than 30 cities along the way.

What is GIS-Lite?
If you saw GIS-Lite in isolation, you might imagine it to be pretty much anything not quite GIS. We're starting to use the word at TerraGo to help explain part of what we do for people - let them transform what would otherwise be a static document into a lightweight location-enabled interactive application. But that's a mouthful, so we call it GIS-Lite.

BC Assessment Wins Award for Transforming Property Assessment Using GIS
BC Assessment (BCA) received an Award of Excellence today from Esri Canada for using geographic information system (GIS) technology to improve property assessment and public access to property information in British Columbia. BCA was the first organization to pilot geospatial 3D modeling to conduct detailed condominium valuations without the need for onsite inspections.
