Pictometry and Harris Corporation to Introduce 3D Products for ESRI ArcGIS Explorer at ESRI User Conference

Companies Jointly Develop Products for GIS Professionals

SAN DIEGO, CA - August 8, 2006 - Pictometry International Corp., the worldwide leader in digital, aerial oblique imagery and measuring software systems, and Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), a leading provider of imagery solutions for the visualization, mapping, and government markets, announced today the availability of new 3D modeling products. This new offering combines the stunning, aerial imaging data from Pictometry with Harris' 3D modeling and geospatial product expertise, creating a more impressive and realistic 3D viewing solution for GIS professionals. The products are available in a variety of formats accessible via ESRI's ArcGIS Explorer.

All three companies, Pictometry, Harris, and ESRI will be demonstrating this new technology at the ESRI International User Conference taking place from August 7-11, 2006 in San Diego, CA. Pictometry's technology is available for demonstration in their booth, number 214 and in the Harris booth, number 303. Other joint product offerings that Pictometry and Harris will be demonstrating at the ESRI International User Conference include 2D ortho mosaics, digital elevation models, and true ortho mosaics.

Pictometry's industry leading software enables users to easily access up to 12 different oblique (at an angle) views of any property, building, highway, or other feature. The software also enables users to obtain measurements such as distance, height, elevation, and area directly from the oblique imagery. Additional ESRI solutions from Pictometry include an ArcGIS extension, ArcIMS integration, ArcSDE support, and coordinate pass-through capabilities.

"The unique characteristics of Pictometry's Intelligent Images and collection system, combined with Harris' industry-leading image processing solutions are perfect for creating exciting high-resolution products for a range of visualization applications for civilian, commercial, and government customers," said Tom Kubancik, business development manager for the ImageLinks product line of Harris Corporation's Government Communications Systems Division (GCSD). "We are very pleased to be able to offer a suite of products, including Pictometry's world renowned oblique imagery that is incorporated into true color image Orthomosaics, highly-textured 3D urban models, and high-accuracy digital elevation models. These products will provide a new level of detail and accuracy that is needed in support of the highest quality urban mapping, public safety, simulation, and visualization databases."

"We recognize that Pictometry offers ESRI users superior oblique data integration and compatibility for our products," said Earl Nordstrand, Data Products Manager, ESRI. "The engineering teams at ESRI, Harris, and Pictometry have worked together to create the proper environment whereby Pictometry's world-class oblique imaging data, and advanced technology from Harris are successfully integrated with the power of ESRI's products including ArcGIS Explorer, for the benefit of our mutual customers."

"We are very excited about these new developments with Harris and ESRI," said Pictometry Chief Marketing Officer Dante Pennacchia. "The combination of our companies' technologies in this solution will clearly advance the functionality for GIS professionals around the world."
