The owner-operator of hundreds of network cameras, EarthCam delivers live images of major tourism destinations to consumers in 182 countries, enabling users to view real-time images from famous destinations like the Space Needle, Bondi Beach, Red Square, and Ground Zero in New York. Looking for extreme weather cams or traffic cameras? You'll find it all here at this awesome resource.
Using the Ground-Zero Earthcam, I used the keymap to select which camera I wanted to use. Selecting from 4 different views I could enlarge the imagery and even select to see time-lapsed photos from the past 24 hours (how cool!). Finally, using the "Control Center" I could actually take control of a webcam which is mounted on top of the Millenium Hilton Hotel. I was presented with a full-screen image display and had the ability to pan and zoom, save, print, email, and even moblog the image I was viewing. The time, temperature, and humidity at the time of viewing was also displayed.

I could easily spend hours spanning the Globe and viewing real-time imagery and photos using Earthcam. It left me wondering also how cool would a mashup of this be? No doubt we'll see one soon as a Map UI would be a really nice way to navigate and select from the cameras!
