Nine New States Added to RiskMeter’s Distance to Fire Station Report   PDF  Print  E-mail
Written by CDS Business Mapping, LLC
Thursday, 09 February 2006
Boston, MA, February 2006 - CDS Business Mapping, LLC., a leader in online property risk mapping, today announced AL, GA, IN, MI, MN, MO, NV, WA and WI have been added to the RiskMeter Online’s (www.RiskMeter.com) Distance to Fire Station Report.  This brings the total number of states to thirty-four!

This cutting-edge report uses routing technology to determine the distance to the three closest fire stations.  By simply typing in an address, RiskMeter Online users can get a detailed report that returns drive distance to responding fire stations, names of the stations and staffing.  What once was an error prone and time-consuming process can now be done in a matter of seconds.

“The key to underwriting success is being able to quickly assess risk,” explains James Munson, Director of Consulting Services, CDS Business Mapping.  “The Distance to Fire Station report will immediately guide carriers to decide whether a location is protected or not.  Regardless of the training, personnel or equipment at a station, if an insured location is greater than 5 miles from a station, the chance of a large loss is inevitable.  This report will quickly verify the distance from local fire stations, and most importantly, it will improve underwriting performance by saving valuable time and money in the early stages of the underwriting process.”  For more information, please contact James Munson at 860.854.6125 or jmunson @ cdsys.com

About RiskMeter.com
