Longview, Texas – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announced today that the City of Westerville, Ohio has procured products from GTG’s LookingGlass GIS software suite. The City will be implementing LGdispatch.
LGdispatch is a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) mapping interface that provides E-911 dispatchers with an interactive map displaying the location of all emergency calls. GTG provides several LookingGlass (LG) products that provide a GIS interface for many public safety agencies throughout the United States.
The City’s implementation of LGdispatch is a huge step in leveraging existing technology investments for use with GIS software. The City has proven that GIS applications can be implemented quickly as a unifying technology.
