gisday1.gif To celebrate GIS Day 2005, the University of New Hampshire has a fantastic schedule of events. Chief Cartographer and Executive Vice President of National Geographic Maps, Allen Carroll will be speaking, the NGS will have a map display, and all in attendance will have a chance to win somme great prizes. This is definitely one of the more impressive GIS Day lineups that we've seen!

Some information about the University of New Hampshire GIS Day 2005:

Have you ever dreamed of what it would be like to work at the National Geographic Society? Do you like GIS, GPS, Geography, Geology, Cartography, or Remote Sensing? If so then come join hundreds of other presenters and guests at this year's GIS Day 2005 Geo-Spatial Science Conference and College Fair on Wednesday, November 16th at the University of New Hampshire.

  • Chief Cartographer and Executive Vice President of National Geographic Maps, Allen Carroll will take us on a tour of ninety years of map making at the National Geographic Society and show us what new and exciting plans the society has for the future.
