The Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center (AGRC) provides a wide range of Geographic Information System (GIS) support to the State of Utah. AGRC maintains the State Geographic Information Database which includes aerial photography, topo maps, elevation data (DEMs), and numerous other spatial data products.

A popular and relatively new addition to the data products are the NED - Utah's NED is available for download by county at 10 and 30 meter resolutions. A statewide 30 meter hill shade (StateWideHillshd30.zip 250mb) and grid (StateWide
 
In a friendly move for site users, the site offers up a user guide (PDF). This latest version of the user's guide makes downloading ArcInfo export files (.e00) easy, with direct hyperlinks to files on the SGID FTP site. See http://agrc.utah.gov/agrc_sgid/sgiddata/sgid_user_guide.pdf
 
A relatively new ArcIMS interactive map allows the user to view and query the Utah Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) database of over 40000 geographic features in Utah. This application is available at http://www.atlas.utah.gov/gazetteer/. Additionally, an interactive map is provided to examine and select a Data Layer Index of your choice, including  1:500K, 1:100K, or 1:24K layers - see http://atlas.utah.gov/sgidmap
