In addition to undergraduate programs, the School of Geography and Geology and the Centre for Spatial Analysis (CSpA) offer three programs to students interested in pursuing a career in Spatial Analysis and GIS.
These programs were designed to address industry needs by offering a balance of technical and other skills in Spatial Analysis and GIS with an emphasis on patterns, relationships and processes. They promote problem-based learning and hands-on applications as they relate to geodatabase modelling and analysis.
1. Certificate in GIS (Part-Time Studies)
2. Diploma in Spatial Analysis and GIS (Part-Time Studies)
3. Graduate Diploma in Spatial Analysis and GIS (Graduate Level)
Students have the option of taking the part-time Diploma and Certificate programs over one year or two years in the evenings.
