ArcWeb Services Power Binspy's Fleetspy3  E-mail
Written by ESRI
13 March 2005
San Diego, California-ESRI, the leading developer of geographic information systems (GIS) software and Web services, today announced that Binspy Systems, a business solutions company focused on enterprise location-based services, has licensed ArcWeb Services for the mapping data and geoservices behind their Fleetspy3 mobile resource management platform.

Binspy's Fleetspy3 allows businesses and organizations of all sizes to manage their mobile workforces and fleets with an easy-to-use online software application. Back-office managers can plot their entire mobile workforce on a single interactive map and automatically view mobile workers' statuses including contact information, current address, and real-time alerts. Fleetspy3 gives users access to a variety of innovative features including a full reporting system, over-the-air device configuration, two-way messaging, and an integrated billing engine. Fleetspy3 also features a robust route planning system where workforce managers can choose locations based on street addresses, previously stored locations, or the current location of mobile workers. "One of the most important parts of any mobile resource management system is the user interface," says Adam Mosam, CEO, Binspy. "Binspy has focused on usability first and foremost to alleviate the complications of managing many variables within one small screen. ArcWeb Services work for us because we don't need to worry about managing GIS servers and map data. The product frees our resources to focus our energy on making the user experience the best it can be, which, in turn, has made our business customers more satisfied."
