Since Vancouver, BC, Canada is hosting GeoTec this year we've turned our spotlight on VanMap - a Web-based map system that lets you have Vancouver at your fingertips. Recently updated, visitors will require the latest Autodesk MapGuide Viewer to access all the functionality. Those who don't wish to install the plug-in can use VanMap Lite.
VanMap shows a snapshot of the City's geographic data maintained by other applications; it may, on occasion, also include data owned and maintained by other agencies, including City of Burnaby, First Nations, Provincial government, Federal government, or Crown agencies.
A public user's list is also available for those wishing to receive updates and info via email.
Visitors to VanMap can access and view zoning information, traffic data, utilities and ortho photos (1999 & 2002)
