Exhibition Space for GITA’s Annual Conference 28 Now 75 Percent Sold  E-mail
Written by GITA
13 January 2005
Jan. 12, 2004: Aurora, Colo. — The Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) announced that the exhibit floor for its Annual Conference 28 is more than three-quarters sold out.

With more than 7 weeks to go before the event, set for March 6-9, 2005, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, over 75 percent of available exhibit space has been assigned to exhibitors.

GITA’s Annual Conference 28, themed Crossing Boundaries, is expected to draw over 3,000 attendees. In addition to the exhibition floor, Annual Conference 28 will include more than 200 speakers on a wide variety of GIS-related topics, a dozen seminars, two panel discussions, and user forums.

The 100,000-square-foot exhibit floor will showcase the latest innovations in geospatial information technology and services from an expected total of over 150 vendors.

The exhibit floor for GITA’s Annual Conference 28 has been developed to appeal to attendees from both the vendor and user perspectives. Over 80 percent of GITA’s Annual Conference user attendees have purchasing authority for their organizations, and the conference is returning to the location at which, in 2000, the association set a record for overall attendance. Many industry observers are predicting another strong turnout for the upcoming event because of the prominence of Denver and Colorado’s Front Range region in the geospatial business market.
