Thanks to Multimap, commercial property seekers can now search for premises by preferred region, town or postcode in a matter of seconds. The service radically reduces the amount of time and effort that users must spend before committing to a viewing. It also means that fewer staff resources are wasted on viewings that don’t result in a sale, freeing employees up to spend time on more profitable pursuits.

Users simply input their region, town and/or postcode; specify property size, tenure and agent; select to view the results as a map and list; and hit “Start looking”. Multimap delivers a list of properties that meet the specified criteria, in order of proximity to the location entered. Details such as address, town, agent and rent per annum are provided for each entry, and icons indicate the property’s surroundings (high street, shopping centre, out of town, factory outlet). Multimap also delivers an interactive map, with full zooming and panning capabilities, that plots the location of the properties found as numbered icons. Users can access the same information provided in the list by hovering their mouse over an icon of interest, which they then click to access further details including a link to a street-level map that plots the exact location of their chosen property as a red circle.
