FRANKFORT, Ky.-- Oct. 18, 2004--Mike Kevany, senior vice president of PlanGraphics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PGRA) will lead a workshop on the "Spatially-Enabled Emergency Operating Center as a Model for General Spatial Operations" at the 24th Urban Data Management Symposium (UDMS) in Chioggia, Italy, on October 26.
The workshop will present the concept of a spatially enabled Emergency Operating Center (EOC) and will describe the implementation of a Web portal for access to the wide range of location-based information required for emergency response.
Kevany will also present a paper, "Underground Assets: Data Management Issues and Strategies" during the symposium.
The UDMS is an international meeting of experts in the field of urban data management and GIS held bi-annually in European cities.
