The Arkansas State Land Information Board coordinates geographic information programs and delivers data products and education, improving resource management, health, safety, and decision making for economic development across Arkansas. Data is served via GeoStore - a massive (two terabyte) Oracle database containing all publicly available geodata for the state of Arkansas
The AGIO has recommended to the State Land Information Board to adopt the FGDC Guidelines for Providing Appropriate Access to Geospatial Data. Data standards are available Here and include Cadastral standards, centerline mapping, and others.
The State's data clearinghouse at http://www.cast.uark.edu/cast/geostor/ is better known as the "GeoStor". Well known in GIS circles, the GeoStor also serves up satellite imagery via RAPID - CAST, USGS, State of Arkansas, PCI Geomatics, Oracle and Sun Microsystems team up to provide quick access to satellite data to the public through RAPID.
When you first access GeoStor you will be provided with a list of ALL the data layers present in the entire database - some of them are statewide in extent while others are much more limited in area. The number of themes is simply too extensive to list. Data can be accessed online via Geosurf (Java plug-in required) or via FTP download - RAW and MrSID DOQQs are available.
