Sunday, 05 September 2004 NOAA recently reiterated its May 2004 Atlantic Hurricane Season Outlook by calling for 12 to 15 tropical storms, with six to eight becoming hurricanes. According to NOAA, The main factor influencing the Atlantic hurricane season again this year is the active Atlantic multi-decadal signal, which includes a continuation of warmer-than-normal ocean temperatures across the tropical Atlantic.
