GeoCover-Ortho stock mosaics are digital color of Landsat bands 7,4,2 as R,G,B, respectively. All stock mosaics are in a UTM projection on the WGS84 Datum and Spheroid. All stock mosaic products have a positional accuracy of 50 meters RMSEr.
Stock mosaics are available over the full globe for both the circa 1990 and circa 2000 epochs. The circa 1990 mosaics have a pixel resolution of 28.5 meters, where as the circa 2000 mosaics, having been created from the pansharpened data, have an effective fused pixel resolution of 14.25 meters
Data set size based on 5 degree (N-S) segments of standard UTM zones and Compressed using MrSID data compression
