Apple iOS and Android devices to be on display
SEATTLE, Wash. — Feb. 25, 2013 —LizardTech®, a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, is exhibiting at the Esri Federal User’s Conference this week in Washington, D.C. Among other geospatial software products, the company will showcase its free GeoViewer applications for viewing geospatial imagery and vector overlays stored on iPad, iPhone, iPad Touch and Android devices.
GeoViewer supports MrSID® and JPEG 2000 formats, and includes measurement functionality as well as geolocation support. It’s also user friendly, with intuitive tools for band selection and coordinate display.
In addition, LizardTech will showcase the company’s entire line of geospatial products: GeoExpress® software, which enables geospatial professionals to compress and manipulate satellite and aerial imagery; Express Server® software for high-performance delivery and publication; and LiDAR Compressor™ software, which turns giant point cloud datasets into efficient MrSID files.
