Dubai UAE, February 11 2013: LMKR today announced the release of LMKR GeoGraphix 2013. This release is in direct response to customer requests received over the last year for improved scalability and reliability. LMKR GeoGraphix 2013 addresses the critical need to manage exponential increases in data size, evolving geologic workflows and data mining requirements.

This release is based on the SQL Anywhere 64 bit relational databasewhich is unique among major relational databases in its ability to scale from the individual consultant working on his/her laptop to large installations with hundreds of Gigabytes of data and multiple users in a project. The release also delivers significant performance improvements in Project Explorer as filtersare now stored in their own directory, as well as XSection for faster cross section creation, editing and correlation workflows.

GeoGraphix 2013 offers major improvements in accessing curve data and seismic data as well as faster survey calculations. For the Geophysicist, this release brings more accuracy in autopicking and 3D visualization integration, and for the Geologist, an updated 3D topology engine and improved performance in smartSECTION that supports more robust and efficient creation of geomodels.
