2nd Annual Public Sector CAD Awards & Expo Celebrates Winners and Provides Attendees with Education and Insights into Design Technology Advancements and Uses

Herndon, VA – February 12, 2013 [acronym] Magazine, a DLT sponsored publication, is pleased to announce the winners and runners up of the second annual [acronym] Magazine Public Sector CAD Awards & Expo. This virtual event was held online on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

Launched last year, the awards honor the most creative and innovative users of digital design technology in the public sector. In particular, the awards look for ways in which technologies such as computer-aided design (CAD), visualization, and modeling software are transforming the way government agencies improve the performance of their agency and enhance the delivery of citizen-centric services.

The contest opened in the fall of 2012 and welcomed numerous entries from state, local and federal government agencies, as well as the contractors who have supported public sector projects.

“Each of this year’s CAD Awards winners and finalists had a unique problem to solve. They needed to improve efficiencies, do more with less, deliver value to citizens and their constituents, and they all came together with their teams, took risks and created change to accomplish those goals,” said Caron Beesley, editor in chief, [acronym] Magazine. “Through digital design innovation and a commitment to excellence, our winners exemplify how digital design technologies are transforming the way government agencies use these tools to improve the performance of their agency and enhance their mission.”
