DAYTON, Ohio (February 4, 2013)… Woolpert, a national geospatial, design and infrastructure management firm, announced today it was named a key teammate on the Parsons Government Services Inc. team to provide design, construction and geospatial support services on Parsons’ recently awarded four-year contract for Technical Support Services (TSSC) with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), with a potential for 10 years and $1.5 billion if all options are exercised.

The TSSC contract, which is the fourth in that series, supports the FAA’s efforts to modernize FAA infrastructure within the National Airspace System (NAS), including transitioning to the Next Generation (NextGen) Air Transportation system. Woolpert will continue to provide aeronautical surveying, airspace obstruction mapping and GIS services as it did on the previous TSSC 3 contract, but will play an expanded engineering design role on the TSSC 4 contract.

According to the terms of the contract, work will take place in all 50 states and the U.S. territories around the globe.
