MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 16, 2013 -- Energy and utility experts from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) will speak and present in-booth demonstrations at the DistribuTECH Conference and Exhibition, held Jan. 27-31 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.

DistribuTECH is the utility industry's leading smart grid conference and exposition with more than 8,400 professionals from 48 countries.  The event covers automation and control systems, energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy integration, advanced metering, T&D system operation and reliability, power delivery equipment, and water utility technology.  

With 40 industry experts in attendance, SAIC will showcase its extensive experience in areas such as grid modernization and energy management, along with in-booth demonstration on microgrids, power delivery upgrades, and SAIC's Smart Grid as a Service offering.  SAIC experts attending DistribuTECH will demonstrate how SAIC delivers and implements practical grid solutions and integrates strategies so that utilities can focus on business instead of technology and bridge their legacy systems with the modern grid.
