Presentation Topic Focuses on Decision & Risk Analysis
COLORADO – December 27, 2012 – Bart Carpenter, Director of The Merrick Consultancy, will present “Decision & Risk Analysis: Making Better Decisions in an Uncertain World” at the January 15, 2013, meeting of the Colorado Chapter of the Association for Strategic Planning. The presentation will provide a detailed look at Decision & Risk Analysis (D&RA), an objective and analytical process designed to help companies navigate in a world of uncertainty to make better decisions. Using D&RA, companies can better understand the opportunities and risk so they can be proactively managed throughout a project.
“Companies can also dramatically improve the efficiency with which they use their resources,” said Carpenter. “D&RA also integrates well with the Strategic Management Process to evaluate alternative strategies to bridge the gap between the current and desired future state.”
The event will be held at the Mountain States Employers Council offices, 1799 Pennsylvania St., Denver, CO 80203 on Tuesday, January 15, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Registration is free for Association for Strategic Planning members and students. Non-members can register for $10. Registration is being taken at
