Esri has just released the official call for papers for the 2013 Esri Education GIS Conference

The call is out for conference presentation proposals.
You have a unique opportunity to share your expertise with your fellow teachers, administrators, researchers, learning technologists, librarians, youth program professionals, and students, as all join together in San Diego, California, at the premier thought-leadership event in GIS education, the
Esri Education GIS Conference.

We invite you to submit abstracts for Lightning Talks and presentations in moderated sessions on Saturday, July 6, 2013, and Tuesday, July 9, 2013. A detailed program of Lightning Talks and moderated sessions will be published prior to the conference.

The deadline for abstract submissions is December 7.

Abstracts are now being accepted for Lightning Talks and User Presentations in moderated sessions on Saturday and Tuesday.  Proposals for sessions on Sunday will be accepted at the event.
Topics
Lightning Talks are five-minute presentations focusing on one key point; this can be an idea, a successful project, a cautionary story, a collaboration invitation, a quick tip, or a demonstration.

Lightning Talks are an excellent opportunity for first-time speakers.

User presentations describe research or innovative projects in 15 minutes. They should include the goals of the work, present the results or lessons learned, and indicate how the information presented can be useful for the audience.
