Berlin – November 12, 2012
WhereCamp XMas Campfire edition
An open talk about modern location tools, 3D maps and mapping communities
There is no question that Berlin can create and support a strong international map-community and offer all the required conditions to a fast developing industry. The ultimate goal of the WhereCamp is to create an open environment for geo-related topics where people can learn, create and discover. The success of our WhereCamp summer edition, held this past June, brought more than 250 participants, involved in constructive debates and innovative presentations about location industry trends. Now, it’s time to talk about what’s ahead for 2013.
In a fast moving technology world, the key to success is to keep the rhythm. New opportunities are coming fast, so we invite everyone who is passionate about geographical topics to a friendly networking session and debates regarding the future of this complex industry.
The doors are open all day long on 7th of December 2012. BarCamps and lightening talks will be announced at the event. The venue is provided by Beuth University of Applied Science in Berlin.
The event is free to attend and active participation is strongly encouraged.
