Intergraph® Introduces Powerful and Comprehensive Geospatial Server Portfolio E-mail
Written by Intergraph
07 November 2012
New release features single portfolio for data management, web mapping, data delivery, on–demand geo-processing and workflow deployment

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., November 7, 2012 – Intergraph announces that the upcoming Intergraph Geospatial 2013 release features a complete server offering to meet an organisation’s enterprise needs. The portfolio includes powerful tools for managing data, delivering web services, web mapping, on-demand geo-processing and workflow development and deployment. Utilising a single web client, Intergraph has streamlined the experience throughout its server offerings. It is now simpler and more convenient for users to share maps and services with others inside and outside of the organisation.

"Effectively sharing geospatial data inside and outside of the organisation has always been a challenge, hindering fast decision making capabilities," said Mladen Stojic, Vice President – Geospatial, Intergraph. "With Intergraph Geospatial 2013, we help organisations break down the walls that have prevented open and secure sharing of data and web services by providing greater compatibility across our portfolio, which will further optimise workflows and get information into the hands of those that need it."

The server portfolio includes the new Geospatial Portal, a web application that is a configurable and customisable browser-based web portal for building online applications. Geospatial Portal can be used by Intergraph products and/or other server products that support standard web services. This unified web client allows users to find data, build web apps, exploit data and deliver geospatial web applications. Users will be able to build web maps and access services from any server solution from one modern, powerful web client.

The portfolio alleviates the cumbersome and complicated configuration of applications through one administration console – providing a single unified interface, and one environment to quickly stand-up an enterprise system. Intergraph Geospatial 2013 can deploy on the Amazon EC2 cloud infrastructure and also supports the latest Microsoft Windows Server 2012 release.

Intergraph is launching Intergraph Geospatial 2013 later this year. The united portfolio includes new releases of GeoMedia®, ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS, ImageStation, ERDAS APOLLO®, GeoMedia Smart Client, GeoMedia Web Map, Geospatial Portal, and Geospatial SDI. In this modern and dynamic release, users will be able to discover and exploit the wealth of information contained in data from any source, share it rapidly (and securely), and deliver it on demand as reliable and actionable information to drive smarter decisions.
