Hey developers, particularly those of you interested in speech recognition technology, take note of this event from AT&T – DevLab. DevLab is a one-day, hands-on programming workshop for developers, providing a technical deep dive into the latest services and tools for mobile app development. DevLab will take place September 25 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif.
Highlights for the day include introducing developers to AT&T’s new Speech API, part of the AT&T API Platform, and the AT&T Application Resource Optimizer (ARO) which analyzes mobile application efficiency, giving developers the ability to improve battery life and data usage. Early registration is currently open and is $60 and ends Aug. 31, with regular registration set at $90 until Sept. 21. After Sept. 21, registration will be $120.
