We invite you to participate in an online seminar in English to know the gvSIG project [1] and some of the main gvSIG Desktop functionalities, next Thursday July 12th.

With more than one hundred thousand downloads of a same version in more than 90 countries, translated to more than 25 languages and with a users community higher than six thousand people, gvSIG Desktop is one of the Desktop GIS more complete currently. gvSIG is an open source project that allows its free use, distribution, examination and improvement.

The event is organized by the gvSIG Association [2], and it will be held thanks to the collaboration of the company Tècnicsassociats [3], who has yielded its webinar platform.

Registration will be free of charge. The event will be interactive and it's oriented to the current or potential users of geographic information system tools. Participants will be able to interact with the speakers through the chat.
