Cody Corporation Set to Partner with F4Devices to Offer Flint in Australasian Markets
Tallahassee, Florida, June 12, 2012 --- F4Devices, a division of F4 Tech and strategic partner with BAP Precision, Taiwan, announced today the establishment of an Australian distributor located in Adelaide, South Australia. Cody Corporation has agreed to carry the F4Devices product line for the Australasian region on an exclusive basis. The new Flint handheld was officially introduced in February. With the Flint, field workers requiring a rugged mobile handheld device now have a solution that is lightweight, compact, rugged, cost-effective and above all, high performing. The Flint fits well into GIS field data collection markets such as surveying, municipalities, oil and gas, forestry, and many more in the fields of GIS and geolocation.
The completely integrated Flint handheld offers a unique combination of flexible GPS configurations ranging from 1-3 meter measurements to Sub-Meter accuracies. The Flint’s built in 5 megapixel autofocus camera supports WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G data uploads to allow full geotagging functionality. F4Devices’ onboard GeoAssist software application allows users to configure their GPS and enhance its performance based on the collection environment. Other options include a built-in NTRIP client for those needing higher precision mapping (<1M), storage of NMEA data as well raw binary data for conversion to Rinex for post-processing.
There are two versions to choose from, the S812H (includes GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and a 5 MP camera) and the S852H (includes GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 5 MP camera as well as 3G data capabilities).
