Sharing the results and workflows of your spatial analyses will soon become easier, using the new geoprocessing packages in ArcGIS 10.1, which Esri will release this summer.

To familiarize you with how to work with geoprocessing packages, Esri will host the live training seminar Sharing Analysis Workflows Using Geoprocessing Packages on June 7, 2012.

Geoprocessing packages will make sharing your geospatial analyses with others much simpler, whether you are collaborating with colleagues within your organization or with a broader audience. During the seminar, you will learn what a geoprocessing package is and how to create one. You also will see how to use geoprocessing packages to share analysis workflows and improve collaboration.

After viewing this seminar, you will understand how to do the following:

· Use ArcGIS for Desktop to create geoprocessing packages for sharing analysis workflows

· Share geoprocessing packages via ArcGIS Online

· Search for and use geoprocessing packages in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS for Desktop

This live training seminar is geared toward GIS analysts and ArcGIS for Desktop software users. A basic understanding of geoprocessing and ArcGIS for Desktop is recommended.
