SuperPad 3.1, the newest comprehensive mobile GIS software, has been officially launched by SuperGeo. SuperPad 3.1 enhances the user interface, adds SBAS extension, provides sample codes for custom extensions, and improves connection with SuperGIS server to make the data synchronization more effectively.
SuperPad 3.1 is the full-function software designed for mobile GIS and outdoor mapping. Field surveyors can collect, edit, measure, and query spatial data in the field effectively with diverse mobile devices or other handheld devices. The validity and usability of the data are thus largely improved.
The new SuperPad 3.1 mainly enhances the user interface. It not only simplifies the manipulation but also improves the display of GPS status. According to diverse resolution of mobile devices, SuperPad 3.1 adjusts toolbar icons to facilitate field investigation. In addition, the newly added SBAS extension which supports to start SBAS function on mobile devices optimizes the precision of GPS data collection. Moreover, as to custom function, SuperPad 3.1 provides sample codes for developing extensions and offers Microsoft Visual Studio templates to assist users in developing the functions they need. To have the GIS workflow smoother, SuperPad 3.1 improves its efficiency of online editing the map published by SuperGIS Server. Thus, users can complete data uploading and synchronization more effectively during the field survey.
