This update from New Century Software... Version 2.0.0 of New Century Software's iAlign application is now available. iAlign provides the ability to align the results of an In-line Inspection (ILI) or Close Interval Survey (CIS) to an operator's pipeline GIS implementation by assigning stationing values to the inspection data using a series of control points. Once the inspection data has been assigned stationing values, it can then be loaded into the PODS database.
About iAlign:
Working with pipeline operators and In-line Inspection (ILI) vendors, New Century Software has developed iAlign to bring two important datasets together: ILI data and the pipeline GIS. This pipeline integrity inspection application utilizes a standardized ILI Interchange database for storing and reporting of smart pig data.
iAlign pulls the ILI data into the software, assigns stationing to the data by using a series of control points aligned with the operator’s pipeline GIS implementation, and loads the data to the appropriate tables within PODS. With the data properly aligned, operators can more accurately locate anomalies revealed during pig inspections and save money when digging to perform pipeline repairs.
Features
Enable ILI data integration from other vendors using Microsoft Access and Excel
Align ILI features and events with existing pipeline stationing
Assign station locations using at least two control points in the pipeline
Normalize different ILI vendor features to the standard ALIAS codes
Export data from PODS into the ILI Interchange database
Load inspection features from an ILI Interchange database to a PODS database with an easy to use Data Import Wizard
