GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) is pleased to announce that the City of Milton, Florida has upgraded their enterprise GIS visualization suite to the new GeoBlade Vantage Points platform.  Curtis Hinton, President of GTG, points out that; “the City of Milton has been a long time user of GTG software products.  The application is utilized for visualizing utility accounts, utility consumption, and a host of GIS data. GeoBlade has become the primary way for the City to access key data.”  The City of Milton wanted to focus on eliminating stovepipes of data throughout their organization.  They see GIS as a window into all of their IT investments.  The ease-of-use and sophistication of GeoBlade has made it a success at the City.  Julio Garrido, Integration Specialist for GTG, stated; “staff enthusiasm was great in regards to this upgrade.  GeoBlade is the perfect toolset for local government.  Our open architecture allows us to consume data from any existing database (spatial or non-spatial).”
