The mapping site offers real-time tracking of storms worldwide using official forecast data. From its origins in 1988, HURREVAC has grown into a feature-rich program currently used by more than 6,000 government emergency managers worldwide. The website is a comprehensive storm tracking service for Google Earth and ESRI’s ArcGIS. HurricaneMapping.com’s datafeeds are designed to be both an extended service to our existing customers in the public sectors as well as a stand-alone service to new private-sector customers. The data feeds are a subscription-based service that delivers live hurricane, tropical storm, and typhoon tracking data quickly and efficiently to the desktop.
