Via The LiDARnews team... The center of the LiDAR universe is going to be in Sacramento, California at the Convention Center starting Monday March 19 and running through Friday the 23rd for ASPRS 2012.

The conference theme, Imaging and Geospatial Technologies - Into the Future, offers a glimpse into a fascinating program filled with technical sessions, keynote speakers, workshops and more, all focused on what is to come for our industry.

Monday and Tuesday are reserved for a variety of workshops, user groups and committee meetings including a classified session, and on Tuesday at 1:00 PM the Mobile LiDAR committee. The conference officially opens Wednesday morning with a series of keynotes, award presentations and scholarship announcements. The technical sessions will run all day Wednesday and Thursday with LiDAR being a key topic.
