Company releases new SDK adding support for per-band decoding
SEATTLE, Wash. — March 19, 2012 —LizardTech®, a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, is exhibiting this week at the 2012 ASPRS Annual Conference in Sacramento, Calif. in booth #227.
This week the company is releasing version 8.5 of their software development kit (SDK) that adds support for per-band decoding. This means that decode and viewing performance is improved dramatically for multi- and hyperspectral imagery. Now LizardTech’s partners and customers have the ability to decode only the bands that they need.
LizardTech representatives will be available in booth #227 to answer any questions pertaining to the updated SDK. They will also be conducting demonstrations of GeoExpress® software, which enables geospatial professionals to compress and manipulate satellite and aerial imagery, Express Server® software for high-performance delivery and publication, and LiDAR Compressor™software, which turns giant point cloud datasets into efficient MrSID files.
