Learn How Esriís ArcGIS Schematics Helps Organizations Better Manage and Visualize Networks E-mail
GIS News - Webinars and Online Training
Written by Esri
19 March 2012

ArcGIS Schematics is a software solution from Esri that lets you generate diagrams of virtually any linear physical or logical network. You can use the software to produce diagrams of oil and gas pipelines, delivery routes, electric utility substations, social and economic networks, and more.

To learn how ArcGIS Schematics can be used to manage and visualize your networks, tune in to the free Esri live training seminar Understanding ArcGIS Schematics on March 22, 2012. The presenters will explain what a schematic is and does; how ArcGIS Schematics works and on what type of platforms; and what new capabilities are available in Esriís latest version of the software, ArcGIS Schematics 10.1.

After watching this seminar, you will understand

  • How ArcGIS Schematics generates diagrams from data with logical or physical connectivity
  • The wide variety of uses for ArcGIS Schematics
  • How diagrams created using ArcGIS Schematics can be shared with colleagues using a web service

This live training seminar is aimed at GIS and engineering professionals who need schematic views of their GIS data. They may include those who work in industries such as telecommunications, energy, hydrology, transportation, oil, electric and gas, defense and intelligence, and local government. Some familiarity with ArcGIS for Desktop is recommended but not required. Knowing how to use ArcGIS for Server to publish maps online is also helpful.

A broadband Internet connection and an Esri Global Account are needed to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Global Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login, and register your name and address.
