Birmingham, AL – February 8, 2012 – 3-GIS, a GIS software solutions company based in Decatur, Alabama, and the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency (JCEMA) will host a GITA SE lunch and learn on emergency preparedness. The event will be held February 16 at the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency, 709 North 19th Street in Birmingham.
3-GIS President Tom Counts and JCEMA Chief and Coordinator Allen Kniphfer will present during lunch. 3-GIS has worked with JCEMA to expedite data into the county’s GIS after the April 27, 2011 storms that devastated North Alabama.
