IDV Solutions to sponsor TechSec Solutions Conference 2012  E-mail

Visual Command Center physical security visualization software among innovative products featured

Lansing, Michigan – January 31, 2012 – IDV Solutions announced today that it will sponsor and attend TechSec Solutions 2012, the premier conference discussing new and emerging technologies and their impact on the security industry.

IDV Solutions released its Visual Command Center physical security software solution at ASIS International this past fall to great acclaim. The winter leg of the global launch tour began last week at Intersec 2012 in Dubai, U.A.E., and continues with TechSec Solutions 2012, February 7 and 8, in Delray Beach, FL.

Visual Command Center has sparked interest among corporate security departments looking to improve their situation awareness and integrate security data and feeds from systems such as access control, video management, incident management, executive / VIP protection, and asset tracking.

It unites data from multiple security devices and data sources into a comprehensive, real-time view on maps and floor plans, providing security operations command centers with situation awareness and context needed to make decisions and respond more quickly and effectively to man-made and natural emergencies, threats, and events.

TechSec Solutions’ educational programs, panel discussions, and presentations on emerging trends and technologies are an ideal showcase for innovative technology solutions such as Visual Command Center. “Visual Command Center, with its integrated global-to-ground-level view, has positively changed the way security operations centers help ensure the safety of their people and facilities,” said Mark Morrison, CEO of IDV Solutions. “Visual Command Center gives security teams the ability to instantly integrate and analyze information from almost any source, and to share and collaborate with field commanders and security officers via iPad or smart phone.”

“We’re delighted that IDV Solutions has joined other security industry technology leaders at TechSec Solutions 2012,” said Tim Purpura, conference organizer and Group Publisher, Security Director News/United Publications. “Innovative security solutions like Visual Command Center are an excellent example of technology that is moving the industry forward.”
