From the Blue Marble User Conference in Denver, CO this unofficial announcement...
Congrats go out to the crew at Blue Marble Geographics (http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/) - you know, the coordinate transformation, conversion, and vector translation folks from the North East (Gardiner, Maine to be more precise) ... well, in a note from Company President, Patrick Cunningham I'm hearing that the team is celebrating the announcement (officially coming tomorrow) that the company has acquired Colorado-based Global Mapper LLC (think dlgv32 Pro)
No official details on the deal, however, we can expect more to come over the coming days. Note, Cunningham and team are currently in Denver, Colorado hosting the annual Blue Marble Geographics User Conference and user training event.
