Multibeam bathymetric data at NGDC can now be selected via an interactive map (ArcIMS) Web interface. Data selections are downloadable for free. An on-line Autochart custom mapping feature is also available. NGDC is the US national archive for multibeam bathymetric data and presently holds over 1.6 million nautical miles of ship tracklines (660 surveys) received from sources worldwide.
