esriuc Tip - Capturx natural user interfaces for Command and Control from Adapx E-mail
Written by Adapx
12 July 2011

A quick reminder that Capturx natural user interfaces for Command and Control from Adapx will be featured as part of tomorrow’s Asset and Force Protection” presentation at the 2011 ESRI International User Conference.

Capturx for Command and Control helps warfighters and emergency responders speed GIS data capture –enabling teams to use voice, handwriting, and sketch on paper, touchscreens or wall displays to create ArcObjects. Capturx for C2 speeds data capture and decision making while avoiding complex interfaces and devices which can get in the way of timely data capture, sharing and decision making in high stakes environments. The presentation will explain the underlying speech and sketch recognition technologies and approach for creating the ArcObjects. The system will also be demonstrated in a military planning environment with placement of units and control measures in a Course of Action (COA).

Recently, Adapx received an “Excellent” grade at Empire Challenge 2010, for automating field intelligence gathering with digital pens, learn more about the exercise and assessment.
