Wesdock Named Military Director at GeoDecisions  E-mail
Written by Geodecisions
09 July 2004
(Harrisburg, Pa.)  Brendan J. Wesdock was recently named military director at GeoDecisions®, a leader in the information technology industry that specializes in geospatial solutions.

Wesdock works in GeoDecisions’ regional office in Newport News, Va. He has experience as lead developer and project manager for the company’s award-winning application, IRRIS™.

As military director, Wesdock will be responsible for providing leadership on IRRIS projects as well as guiding the company’s growing military market. He will also continue to serve as project manager for IRRIS.

IRRIS provides a wide range of cutting-edge solutions for transportation security, emergency response, vehicle tracking, and disaster preparedness. In 2002, IRRIS saved U.S. taxpayers approximately $13 million and allowed the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command Transportation Engineering Agency to track 500,000 shipments worldwide. IRRIS also saved the U.S. $20 million by providing critical support during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The philosophy of GeoDecisions is based on an enterprise approach to the integration of diverse information technologies. Its reputation for success is founded on providing a full range of innovative solutions to its clients. This includes strategic and implementation planning, requirements definition, database design and development, GIS-based utility asset management tools, linear referencing system design and implementation, custom application development and product training, and Web and wireless solutions.
