Hello GIS and Geo Tech professional, welcome once again to our bi-weekly news update. To start, you may have noticed that recently we've been posting a few interesting mentions of cool Geo things we've heard about on Twitter. We call these our Geo Tweet Faves and it's our way of sharing some of the coolest things that you've been sharing. Rather than a simple Re-tweet of 140 characters that has a very short life, we'd rather expand on some of the cool tips that the community has been sharing by exploring the tips in a greater detail and providing our readers with a little more info as well as some commentary. So, be sure to keep those twitter tips coming and if you have something really cool to share, make sure you follow @GISuser or myself, @gletham and DM or @ mention me in a tweet if you really want to get my attention. You can find the archive of recent Geo Tweet Faves here including the latest fave that looks at a cool map service in the UK that tracks toilet flushes! Not on Twitter?? No problem, you can always contact us the "old fashioned" way... via email! Oh, FYI, if you're interested in some interesting Twitter Third party add-on tools check out this directory.
