This fun and interesting tweet tip came via Google's @ManoMarks who shared details of the cool Flush Tracker app

From @ManoMarks Track your flush on Google Maps: http://goo.gl/Kuppp

As curiosity got the best of me, I had to check out the app. It turns out that it takes us to a clever, Google Maps driven web service that reveals data currently for the UK, Ireland,  S. Africa and Poland.

Entering a service the user is shown a map of the local sewer system and reveals information like speed and distance for a flush to travel. Local Flushes are shown on the map (perhaps via a toilet sensor too??)  and then the path of flow is drawn on the map... very clever and no doubt useful to the local sewer authority.
