Verizon Wireless Location-Based Service Applications will Showcase Flixwagon, Geo Edition Application in CES

LAS VEGAS-- Flixwagon, the leading provider of Interactive Mobile Video Broadcast and Social Networking platform, today announced its ‘Geo Edition’ application was selected to be showcased as part of Verizon Wireless’ Location-Based Service (LBS) Applications (Apps) Showcase at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Flixwagon’s app will be displayed on various Verizon Wireless 4G LTE devices.

The Flixwagon ‘Geo Edition’ solution for Android mobile phones is the first mobile application to combine the integrated power of:

    * Live Mobile Video Broadcasting
    * Social Networking
    * Location Positioning
    * GPS Navigation system

The 2011 CES LBS Apps Showcase, presented inside the Verizon Wireless CES booth, showcases apps developed using Verizon Wireless’ cross-device platform LBS SDK, NavBuilder® Inside (NBI). The apps leverage Verizon’s inherent location capabilities and provide a seamless user experience by embedding maps, local search, and traffic-aware directions. The advantage to device users is that they do not need to leave the app to take advantage of the LBS capabilities. In addition, the apps are enabled with Verizon’s GPS Navigation, VZ Navigator®, and provide a better user experience by offering voice-guided GPS 3D navigation.

Flixwagon’s Geo Edition Application enables consumers to broadcast live mobile video from a recommended location and use social networks (Facebook, Twitter) to share, in real-time, the experience. Additionally, it provides everyone who views the video and likes the place the ability to get into their car and use the integrated VZ Navigator to drive to the specified location without an address or directions.

This is the first release of Flixwagon technology on the Android platform and further enhances live mobile interaction capabilities. The new features include:

    * Paint - Which allows touch phone users to easily sketch and draw on top of the captured video and broadcast the combined visual result.
    * Extended Chat – Enabling Chat between Facebook viewers of Flixwagon broadcasted video and the broadcaster.
    * Mobile Gallery – Provides ability to view and manage personal video clips from the mobile.
