iPad GISRoam: First iOS GIS application to natively load raster and elevation when 3G/ WIFI is unavailable.
Tucson, 11 Oct, 2010 – Cogent3D, Inc., announces the iTunes App store release of GISRoam™, Version 2.0. GISRoam is an easy-to-use but powerful mobile GIS application for when you are away from your desk and need to collect, review, edit, and colorize Shapefile layers on your iPad/iPhone.
GISRoam 2.0 brings the ability to add your own raster data in the form of images, maps, and elevation data for use in the field when you need to enhance commercial maps like Google Maps or need data when 3G/WIFI is unavailable.

• Automatically create data entry menu from pre-entered records
• New iTunes based Localconnect for loading raster data directly into GISRoam using USB
