CHANTILLY, VA, 4 May 2010 - Spot Image Corporation has hired Bob Shafer as Director of Defense Programs. Bob comes to Spot Image from IGIS Technologies, where he served as Director of Business Development and was responsible for establishing and expanding a Defense and Federal presence for their GIS and geospatial services. Before that, he served in various positions at Group Systems, Evoke Software, Legent Corporation, Uniserv Systems, and Ajilon Consulting.
