Geomares Publishing is proud to announce the release of www.electronic.chart.com. The website is aimed to support ship owners, operators and mariners in the transition from paper charts to ECDIS navigation.
The content of news updates on developments around ECDIS will be soon extended with photo and video material and interactive tools.
Further the website makes available the book The Electronic Chart, which gives overview on marine electronic charts; all issues from system hardware and software, chart data types and structures, training requirements, safety, legal and economic considerations are covered.
