Finally, someone has come up with an app that enables users of foursquare to check-in with a photo - in all honesty I think this has been a huge mistake and obvious lacking feature of foursquare that results in users getting bored.
So finally, one developer decided to add that capability - enter SquarePik (search iTunes shop). What’s interesting here is that foursquare is a free app that’s gaining HUGE momentum but now we have a supporting app that can extend the functionality and this developer is likely going to make some decent $$. If anything this is another indication of just how the developer can make some cash via social media.
Indeed there’s likely many ways to exploit the geo-centric capabilities and functionality of foursquare to create some cool functionality as well as a business model! See also what Mashable says about SquarePik
